Elite Electrical is proud to support several local football teams and community initiatives through ongoing sponsorship and support. Grassroots sport plays an important role in bringing communities together, building confidence, teamwork and opportunities for players of all ages. By sponsoring local teams, we hope to help provide better facilities, equipment and opportunities for players to develop and enjoy the game. We are committed to continuing our support for local organisations and making a positive impact both on and off the pitch.

The club is having a solid season, the 1st team in the FA Women’s National League Division 1 South East is currently mid table which is a good achievement considering the clubs we are competing against, some with incredible resources and big budgets. The terrible weather has scuppered things a little and interrupted the flow as our home ground has been waterlogged for about 4 months, but we are very much hoping to be able to play there again on Sunday when we are due to welcome AFC Sudbury to North Greenford Utd. 

Our home form, probably for the above reason, have been a bit patchy but our away form has been great with 6 out of 8 league wins, only losing to high flying Fulham and Norwich City. I think it’s the away kit playing a big part here.

Our other two senior teams are doing well too, the reserves are currently fighting for a top 3 finish in the London & Soth East Regional Division 1 North and the 3rd team are climbing the table in the Greater London League Division 1 South and have been unbeaten since new manager Jamie came in before Christmas and are currently on two good cup runs. Fingers crossed for a cup final before the season ends!

Our flagship academy side matched their previous best in the FA Youth Cup by reaching the 2nd Round Proper of this year’s competition.
 
It was a dramatic journey in this year’s tournament, which began with a 2-1 victory over Lewes at Meadowbank on Tuesday September 16th. Two superb strikes from central midfielders Miguel Rodriguez and Cristiano Barreca booked Wanderers a place in the next round, and for the remainder of this year’s run the fixtures would be contested away from home. 

A Surrey derby and visit to Camberley Town was up next on October 2nd, a brace from scholarship student Joshua Hebert key in Wanderers securing a 2-3 victory in a hard-fought contest. Then, a trip further afield in the final preliminary round as the squad travelled to Wingate & Finchley on a Friday evening, October 17th. After coming from behind late on to draw the game 2-2 courtesy of another brace from Joshua Hebert, a place in the first round proper was booked via penalties after a 4-5 victory in a nail-biting shoot-out. 

It would be a more comfortable win following this in the first round proper as Wanderers, despite going behind early in the game, went on to defeat Cambridge City 2-5. Finley McIntyre, Sid Moore (x2), Miguel Rodriguez and Miles Straker scored the goals on the night, setting up a tie in the second round proper away to football league club Swindon Town. Recent season’s had seen Wanderers defeated by such established sides as Barnet, Colchester United and Cheltenham Town at the same stage – this year saw the team turn in another valiant effort, going as close as they’ve ever done to reaching the third round, but Swindon edged out a narrow 2-1 win on the night, bringing to an end a spirited run by Wanderers in this year’s competition.

Our post-16 academy welcomed more girls than ever to the education and football programme for 25/26, and it’s been a season of brilliant progress for the girls so far.

Two of our three sides have really excelled in 25/26, going on to make great progress in both their respective league and cup competitions. Our midweek team, who compete in the Tactic League W1 division, are currently top of the table with three games left to play this season, and have booked their place in the League Cup Final, which will take place in mid-May against Fulham Raynes Park.

Our Saturday team received promotion earlier in this current season by going from the JPL standard league to the JPL Warriors Division, which features a number of established football league clubs. In addition to this, the team have made it to the London Senior Cup Final, which is taking place this Sunday March 22nd against Millwall at Barking FC’s stadium in a 6:30pm KO.

This current season has seen more first team call up’s for our academy players than ever before across both the boys and girls pathways.
 
For the boys, scholarship student Joshua Hebert has made several first team appearances, and scored his first goal for the senior side in the 1-1 draw away at Chelmsford City on October 4th 2026. Academy Captain Ted Sullivan has also made a few appearances for the team this term, whilst a number of players have been regularly included in the matchday squad, including first year student’s Dillon Grass and Finley McIntyre, plus second year striker Miles Straker.
 
Since the turn of the calendar year, several of our academy girls have featured for the Dorking Wanderers Women, who compete in the London & South East Regional Premier Division, which is Tier 5 of the Women’s football pyramid. Second year student Jasmine Smith was the top scorer across all our academy sides last season, and upon completing this current season with the Women’s first team will go on to continue her education and football with a prestigious US scholarship next year over at Black Hawk Community College in Illinois. Elsewhere, first year student’s Xaidan Gooding, Tilly Paget and Elissia Reynolds have all played for the senior Women’s team, with Xaidan earning herself the ‘Player Of The Match’ following a great performance in first full league appearance against Ebbsfleet United on February 8th 2026 at Meadowbank.

The rally is really gaining momentum, and excitement is building among participants and supporters alike. We recently held our second decal, which was a fantastic turnout with approximately 30 cars attending. It was a great sight to see all the vehicles being stickered up, showcasing the support from our amazing sponsor, Skins Vinyl & Wraps. The energy and enthusiasm from everyone involved were truly inspiring, and it highlighted just how much the rally has grown. Looking ahead, we have one more decal day planned for April, where we hope to get the remaining 40 cars fully stickered and ready to hit the road. In addition to the decals, we have also refreshed our rally hoodies for this year to prominently feature all of our sponsors, celebrating the community and partnerships that make the event possible.
