By the very nature of our works and specialism, our electrical safe systems of work are robust, developed and implemented in line with all relevant statutory guidance.

Health and Safety Training

EEC are committed to training and upskilling both our existing a future workforce. Health and safety training and skills development play a crucial role in ensuring that our workforce can identify site hazards and manage them.   From Director to apprentice, all of our staff receive the training they need to work safely. Such training includes but is not limited to: 

IOSH Leading safely

Site manager safety training scheme (SMSTS)

Site supervisor safety training scheme (SSSTS)

Working at heights – PASMA, IPAF, Harness and Lanyards

Abrasive Wheel

Asbestos Awareness

Manual Handling 

Competent Source of Health and Safety Advice – M.L.A Limited 

To ensure we achieve our ongoing objective of continual health and safety improvement, we retain the services of M.L.A Limited (M.L.A), a construction specialist health and safety consultancy.  M.L.A Limited are an integrated part of our business and bring specialist building services experience. M.L.A provide the following function and service to the business: 

  • 24/7 health and safety advice. 
  • Monthly proactive health and safety site inspections.
  • General and electrical safe systems of work development and implementation. 
  • Training resourcing and delivery. 

Training

Our Operatives have successfully completed many onsite Health & Safety courses including but are not limited to:

  • Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations (PUWER)
  • Working at Heights
  • Hand Arm Vibration awareness (HAV)
  • Manual handling awareness.
  • Safe use of hand tools
  • Occupational Health at work awareness
  • Occupational noise assessment awareness
  • Mobile tower & podium inspection 7 erection(PASMA)
  • Fire Marshall training

First Aiders

As part of our policy to have a comprehensively trained workforce, our managers and supervisors hold either 3 day First Aid at Work or 1 day Emergency First Aid at Work qualifications

CSCS

All operatives have attended Construction Skills Certification Schemes. Qualified electricians all carry CSCS ECS scheme cards and are qualified to NICEIC 17th Edition.
